Content
The goal of this experiment is to determine the temperature of the sun. Using a small radio telescope located on the roof of the institute, the radiation power of the sun is measured. To analyze these measurements and to obtain a physical temperature of the sun, the telescope first has to be calibrated. The basic principles of antenna physics and concepts of electromagnetic radiation are to be prepared prior to the experiment.
